Sparky and her littermates were live-trapped, along with their mama, when they were found living under someone’s house in Minneapolis. We were happy to take them into Camp Kitten and give them a happy, healthy, indoor life! 🙂
Sparky, aptly named, has been the slowest of her littermates to learn to trust people. But she is coming along beautifully! She wants to be in the room and hanging out with people, but on her terms. She is continuing to settle in and warm up the longer she has been in rescue, so we expect that to continue as she learns people are safe – and provide great snacks! 🙂
This crew has done well with the adult cats in their foster home. They have not yet met any dogs. I think they would do fine in a home with dogs with slow introductions. Kittens do best with a buddy – Camp Kitten requires young cats to be adopted in pairs if there isn’t already a young cat or kitten in the home.
