Purple Rain and her littermates (the Prince Kittens) were born to a feral/stray mama in Minneapolis. When the homeowner discovered a litter of kittens living in her window well, we headed right over to pick them up and get them into rescue! Mama was spayed/vaccinated and taken by another rescue!
These six kittens all arrived terrified of humans. With time (and lots of treats!), they are learning people are actually okay!
“Rainy” is a saucy little lady! She will still ocassionally hiss at me just to remind me that she is boss and can’t be told what to do. Never any aggression/biting – just vocalizing her dissatisfaction with her circumstances, lol. But she is a sweet, playful kitten, overall!
This crew has seen my small dogs through a gate I think they would do fine in a home with dogs with slow introductions. Kittens do best with a buddy; Camp Kitten requires kittens to be adopted in pairs if there isn’t already a young cat or kitten in the home.
