Purple Rain and her littermates (the Prince Kittens) were born to a feral/stray mama in Minneapolis. When the homeowner discovered a litter of kittens living in her window well, we headed right over to pick them up and get them into rescue! Mama was spayed/vaccinated and taken by another rescue!
These six kittens all arrived terrified of humans. With time (and lots of treats!), they are learning people are actually okay!
Rainy started out as one of the spiciest of the group, but one day suddenly realized how good the indoor life was and is now a total sweetheart! It was fun to see that switch flip in her little brain and suddenly want to sit in my lap and get loves. She’s also suer playful and loves the other kittens here. Just a great gal!
This crew has seen my small dogs through a gate I think they would do fine in a home with dogs with slow introductions. Kittens do best with a buddy; Camp Kitten requires kittens to be adopted in pairs if there isn’t already a young cat or kitten in the home.
