Prince and his littermates were born to a barn cat and spent their first few months living outside. A good samaritan was helping their elderly owner get his cat population under control and asked us to take these babies in December – and we were happy to get them into rescue, so they didn’t end up as outdoor cats!
Prince is definitely the alpha male of his litter. He puts the other kittens in-check when they get to be too much. 🙂 He is very playful and is typically more focused on wrestsiling or playing with toys than he is in human attention. But he’s a great kitten!
This crew has seen my small dogs (not interacted with them) and, so far, seem uninterested. They like my adult cats that stop in to visit their room ocassionally. I think they would do fine in a home with other pets with slow introductions. Kittens do best with a buddy – Camp Kitten requires young cats to be adopted in pairs if there isn’t already a young cat or kitten in the home.
