Spayed Female | Domestic Short Hair | Tortoiseshell (Latte)

Latte (estimated DOB 3/23/23) came to Camp Kitten after being born into a cat hoarding situation. She didn’t receive proper socialization as a tiny kitten, but is slowly learning that humans are good. 🙂
Latte loves all the other cats she has met here and definitely comes out of her shell around feline friends – especially male cats, it seems. She has recently warmed up to receiving pets from humans! It takes some time to build her trust, but then she will sit with you and let you scratch her back, neck, shoulders, and cheeks.
She does like to play with toys and is treat-motivated, so that will help to win her over in her new home. I think she would do best in a quieter home without small children. She LOVES my older male cat and will follow him anywhere he goes. 🙂 I have been so proud of how she has progressed since joining rescue – this girl is truly special.
She seems unfazed by my small dogs – whom she can see through a gate; I think she would do fine in a house with dogs with slow/proper introductions.
Latte was recently adopted, but returned after 11 days, when she hadn’t fully come out of her shell yet. So I want to be sure whoever chooses to adopt this girl knows there will be patience required, but it is so rewarding when you earn her trust. (Also, she has NEVER shown any aggression. She is all flight, no fight when she is scared.)
Latte is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, negative for FeLV/FIV, and microchipped.
