Frank and his littermates were born outside to a feral mama (dad was a neighbor’s pet, a Scottish Fold). A couple of Good Samaritans started feeding them and, once mama went missing, they caught them one-by-one and got them safely to us. These sweet babies DESERVE the good life, indoors, so we were thrilled to welcome them.
All seven kittens arrived to rescue completely terrified of humans. We have worked diligently to earn their trust, but they are still very timid with new people and will require time and effort in their new homes to continue teaching them humans are good and they are safe. They are all very treat-motivated and toy-motivated, so they will come out of hiding for the right snacks and entertainment!
Frank can be a bit hot and cold. Some days, he is the most chill kitten in the room and loves pets and love. Some days, he is a bit more evasive and suspicious of humans. Frank’s adopter will need to be okay with going slow and helping Frank settle in and learn to trust. But he is SUCH a fun, playful kitten.
This crew has seen my small dogs (not interacted with them) and, so far, seems uninterested; I think they would do fine in a home with other pets with slow introductions. Kittens do best with a buddy – Camp Kitten requires kittens to be adopted in pairs if there isn’t already a young cat or kitten in the home.
