Mama Macadamia and her six kittens came to Camp Kitten in April. They were part of a colony of farm cats and we were determined to help stop the cycle of reproduction!
Macadamia has been such a wonderful cat and mama. She is as sweet and docile as they come. She has nurtured her kittens and is constantly keeping tabs on them, but now it’s her turn to be a kitten again! She is pretty mellow, but I think once she is free of her motherly duties, she will be more playful.
She has been exposed to my two small dogs while in rescue; I think she would do just fine in a home with dogs with proper introductions. Camp Kitten requires young cats to be adopted in pairs if there isn’t already a young cat or kitten in the home.
Macadamia is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. She tested negative for both FeLV and FIV. Macadamia is being fostered in ANDOVER. If interested in meeting her, please complete an adoption application on campkitten.com .
